Special Circumstances: Some behavior occurrences such as fighting will result in going straight to Step 4
- Be Prepared - Come to class with all necessary items i.e. pencil, notebook, homework, any other supplies that may be needed.
- Participate - Complete assigned work and participate in discussions/activities.
- Keep your hands, feet, and personal objects to yourself - This includes taking other's objects without permission.
- Be respectful - Be mindful of your attitude and language with classmates and staff. No bullying.

General Information:
- Cell phones are not allowed to be out in the classroom and will be confiscated and taken to the office for parental pickup.
- Fidget spinners/cubes, toys, or other distracting objects are not allowed in the classroom and will be taken until the end of the day and the student's parents will be notified.
- Makeup work/Absences:
- If an assignment is due the day a student is absent, the assignment is due the day the student returns from the absence.
- If an assignment is assigned while a student is absent, the student has 5 school days to turn in the missing assignments from the date that the student returns to school. It is the student's responsibility to ask for work missed due to an absence.
- Known absences: If the student has an appointment, trip, or field trip scheduled during the school day please request the work with a minimum of one day's warning to keep from falling behind.
- Late work:
- Daily classwork and homework are due on the due date, no exceptions except for absences.
- Presentations and projects will receive a 10% reduction in grade for every day they are late up to 3 days. After 3 days, the grade is a 0.
- Plagarism/Academic Integrity:
- Academic integrity is expected on all assignments. All work must be original to the student. Cheating by copying another’s work or by giving answers to another student will result in a “0” for the assignment, parental notification, and disciplinary action may be taken.
- No name papers will not be accepted due to the chance that the paper will be claimed by someone who did not complete it.
